Congratulations! NINDS, NIH, funded an R01 application in collaboration with Sangmin Jeon and Mike Caterina. Grace will serve as a co-I, 2024-2029.
The lab attended the first virtual USAPS conference together.

Grace joined the Pelotonia fundraising event as a challenger.
The first Shin Lab Annual Symposium took place over 2 days. We invited Tae Gyu Oh from OU (Multi-omics integration and disease modeling) and Elisabetta Babetto from our own OSU (Schwann cells and neuron metabolism) as keynote speakers. Everyone in the lab shared their progress and plans, and Grace presented the summary of our progress and vision for the second year.
The second biannual Shin Lab Value Meeting took place at Marcela’s, Short North.
Congratulations! An abstract submitted by Grace and Elliot was selected for a talk at the 8th Axon Degeneration Conference in DC in September 2024. Grace will present the lab’s work in the Axon Degeneration and Disease session.
